Sino-EU PerMed Kick-off Meeting

On 19-20 February, the Kick-off meeting of the Sino-EU PerMed project took place in Rome. European and the Chinese partners exchanged plans for the next project steps. Due to corona restrictions the Chinese partners could only join the meeting online. But still a lively exchange between all partners has been established. In addition, a meeting with Indridi Benediktsson (European Commission) and IC2PerMed Consortium members was organised to discuss synergies between the coordination and support action.

China Jiangsu Conference for International Technology Transfer and Commercialization (CITTC)

The China Jiangsu Conference for International Technology Transfer and Commercialization (CITTC) is one of the largest and most influential events of international innovation cooperation and exchange in China. To further promote Jiangsu’s openness in innovation, the 7th CITTC will be held with the theme “Networking Online, Partnership for Innovation”, in Nanjing from November 11 to November 13, 2020. Echoing the global efforts in COVID-19 control, most of the activities under CITTC will take place online, including online technology roadshows, virtual B2B meetings, webinar and symposium on innovation cooperation.

The General Assembly (GA) was divided in 2 parts. First part was the meeting of the consortium and the project progress and the second part was an exchange with the EU-funded CSA IC2PerMed and SENET on hurdles and challenges dealing with Personalised Medicine /Health and China
